Jungle Kitchen is a modern tropical vegan food range made from indigenous ingredients, that are tinned for easy use and consumption at home.

Brand Snapshot

The pairing of jungle and adventure is age-old. There is danger, beauty, wonder all in one treebound land. The curiosity it conjures is undeniable – it calls you; it pulls you in. It’s raw exploration. And now Jungle Kitchen promises the thrill of such adventure in culinary form by tinning the best of tropical produce and putting it onto the plates of home chefs far away from Asia (and the jungle’s lurking dangers.)

It sometimes takes an ingredient or notable chef to spark a culinary re-imagination, in the way Ottolenghi did for Levantine food or Dishoom did for Indian street fare. But, for most of us, when it comes to the kind of food stuffs being offered here it’s really a case of not even knowing what we are missing. With Jungle Kitchen’s wares, it is hard to imagine the flavors – what do Banana Flowers or Jackseeds even taste like? And what do they pair with? Therein lies the magic. It leaves the palette questioning: with deep-green foliage-rich packaging, it beckons you to enter the jungle, and give it a try.

What’s exciting is that the abundance of tropical seeds, roots, plants, flowers, and fruits provide enough variety to create a whole tropical cooking genre across the world. The flavours hit, there’s a history of original recipes to discover and the novelty appeals. Oh, we’re having the tropics for dinner. Please, try my jungle canapés.

Curiosity will cook the tropics.
